They’re both owned and being put on the market by the Heon family. Beyond just seeing the initial listing for the Georgetown theater space, I’ve not heard anything else. As for Nathans, I don’t think they’re having much luck finding a buyer for the building. I’ve heard a few rumors about a possible new tenant, but nothing definite.
Every time I walk past this place, I think, “God couldn’t you please just let me win Powerball so I can bring this building back to life?”
