    What a callous comment. The value of that little girl’s outfit would house and feed that poor man for a week.

    I drive past that guy a few times a week. On two occasions I’ve seen him in the alley talking on a cell phone. I think he’s doing okay.

  4. Some agencies provide cell phones to their homeless clients so that isn’t always the best way to gauge the situation. Best thing to do is give money to organizations that help the homeless (Bread for the City, Christ Church Georgetown’s Soup Kitchen, etc) so you’re actually helping the homeless and not some poser pretending to be homeless as their street performance gig.
