Update From Nathan’s

As discussed a little while back, Nathans is facing an uncertain future. Owner Carol Joynt has been struggling to work out an extension of her lease which ends March 31st. Today she sent out an update, check it out after the jump:

Joynt writes to the Friends of Nathans Facebook group (which you should join, by the way):

I think we could have the lease resolved by the night of the 40th Anniversary Party, March 19.  Maybe that’s when we’ll be able to announce just WHAT is to happen with Nathans.  It’s looking optimistic at the moment.  Every day we get a little closer to an agreement.

So will the March 19th bash be a wake or a celebration? Chances are there’ll be laughs and tears either way, so contact Jon Moss at 339-2000 to save your spot for the big party.
