Oh, geez, GM. Good luck on the parking debate. I would love you to publish a list of who actually showed up to comment – as in, are they fully representative of the community? The Tuesday after a holiday weekend isn’t necessarily a time when the whole neighborhood is here, and I agree with an earlier comment from another reader, that 6:30 eliminates a lot of us who work. Most of all, we need this resolved and to the benefit of residents and people who visit Georgetowners to work or socialize in their homes. After that, it’s important not to constantly penalize others, from outside Georgetown, who come here to tour, shop and dine. In 2011, more than 584,000 tickets were issued in Ward 2, principally in Georgetown.
