• Georgetown among the best places to trick or treat in DC, although GM finds it’s a little hit or miss depending on the block.
• Renderings released for the Post Office project. It’s kind of depressing how widdled away the original plans were.

• Seems like the top five things you should expect from a new Reebok store would go something like: 1: They’ll sell Reeboks 2: They’ll sell Ree..oh wait no there’s just one thing.
• Hey, two great events this weekend: the BID’s newly imagined Fashion and Design (FAD), which is replacing Fashion Night Out in order to capture Georgetown’s big design market too. Also, don’t forget St. John’s book fair Saturday from 10 – 3 on Saturday.

• Could river taxis, including ones connecting Georgetown, finally become more than a novelty in DC? GM kinda doubts it. Between the speed limits and the lack of residential and commercial development right on the water, there’s not much chance for it.
• The Current gave nice coverage to the Georgetown 2028 project.

• Just a reminder, the charette on the West Heating Plant is tomorrow night (not last Tuesday, as GM mistakenly wrote).
• And hey, if you’re looking for something fun to do with kids this coming weekend: check out St. John’s Book Fair. Lots of books, food, and storytelling to be had.

• This is surely some sort of blasphemy for GU grads, no?
• Did you know you can buy whole lobsters at Luke’s Lobster? Given how expensive they’re meager lobster rolls are, GM doubts the lobsters themselves come at much of a deal.
