- Georgetown used to be bordered to the east by Vinegar Hill and was a hop-skip-and-a-jump to Hell’s Bottom.
- “The mission of [Georgetown] Day seems also to have lost clarity over this time- what began in 2000 as a celebration of the campus community in all its parts has shifted to being a celebration bythe community, or more accurately, by the student community.” GM’s read this statement by a GU administrator ten times and he still doesn’t understand it.

- Georgetown Auto Shop still abandoned 1 year after fire destroyed it. The owner still claims that he wants to bring it back, but as a new neighbor, GM hopes the rumors are true that the owner is just waiting for the right price to sell it to a developer.
