Tonight Georgetown grad and CAG program assistant, Elizabeth Maloy, is competing in the finals of the U.S. Olympic trials in Eugene, Oregon. She’s running the 5,000 meters, which GM can tell you, as a former high school distance runner, is a brutal race. But Maloy is more than up to the task. On Monday she ran and won a preliminary heat for the event. If she is one of the top three runners tonight, she’ll be bound for London.
The race is tonight at 10:15. It will be shown on the NBC Sports Network, which is channel 848 on Comcast.
