Nice picture and it got me thinking – any word on the circulator replacing the blue bus anytime soon?
I haven’t heard talk of the the Circulator replacing the Blue Bus recently. Remember, it already has replaced one of the Blue Bus routes (the Foggy Bottom route). I don’t think there are any plans for the Circulator to replace the Rosslyn-Dupont route as well.
And now that the Blue Bus is back in new-actually-blue-buses, I doubt they have any thoughts of changing that anytime soon.
That’s not to say that the Circulator route might not change. Some advocate for it to just loop around K st. to M (like it did originally). Others want it to continue down M to Rosslyn. I’ve never seen any serious plans put forward for either change.
