The Georgetown Metropolitan 
Please come and see the Georgetown Neighborhood Library’s original 1935 “Lamp of Learning” weather vane that was recovered from the debris shortly after the 2007 fire. This artifact is on display in the Peabody Room, located on the third floor of the library, corner of Wisconsin Avenue & R Street, NW.
Peabody is open Mondays and 2nd & 4th Saturdays, 9:30-5:30 and Thursdays, 1-9. For additional information call (202) 727-0233.
