Storm Peters Out Over Georgetown’s Skyline

Vodpod videos no longer available.

Bear with GM as he again plays around with a new feature of his camera. Last time it was the tilt-shift movie feature. Today it’s the time-elapsed photography.

On Friday, a storm threatened NW Washington (actually, given the lack of rain recently, it would probably be better to say a storm promised NW Washington). GM propped up his camera out his back window and caught about an hour of the sight of a rain storm completely failing to appear.

Which is all to say: make sure you water your trees!

  1. lovely skyline. DC usually has nice weather, but after Irene we can say we got lucky.
