Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- Plot to kill Saudi ambassador likely to have taken place at Cafe Milano.
- Which left some asking: Why do “VIPs” like Cafe Milano so much in the first place?
- We Love DC stops by the new Brooks Brothers.
Here’s more on CM: http://www.newyorksocialdiary.com/node/1907520
Cafe Milano, third or maybe fourth best Italian restaurant in Georgetown.
My favorite comment in the Post notation about it being the possible target, was talking about how they value the privacy of their guests….really, then why does your staff call in and tell the Post whenever some celebrity eats there (not counting politicians who are pseudo celebs and are a dime a dozen in DC)?
At least they finally got that ugly tent down as they took over more sidewalk.
And so where does the Washington Post put the story on the attempteded assassination of the Saudi Prince………in the entertainment section. Unbelievable!
Shockingly, more Milano disclosure of who dines there again this morning in the Post, they really respect their customers privacy. This time the two male idiots who thought hiking along the border of Iraq and Iran was a good idea. If these guys weren’t spies, then they should be forced to reimburse the US Govt for its efforts in freeing them. Not only are they idiots for creating a international incident with their “adventure hiking trip” but they also can’t find a good Italian restaurant in Georgetown.
