As mentioned yesterday, GM’s packing up and getting ready for a move this week, so he didn’t have time for a normal post. So even though it’s got nothing to do with Georgetown, here’s a film GM took this summer of his trip to Washington State. You ought to visit it sometime:
Vodpod videos no longer available.

I love the Twin Peaks theme behind it. I was waiting for a shot of the Double R diner, though, (or the traffic light)!
Actually, the real Great Northern Hotel is in Washington:

But it was well out of our way. Saw a bunch of Twilight places though (they just happened to be on the way, I swear).
Great video. Could almost see our old apartment looking out over Lake Union at the 2 min mark. Spent one year out there after college, luckily the real estate market back then was as bad as it is now and our house didn’t sell in Georgetown as Seattle and UW just didn’t take. Great place to visit, especially in August and September.
Great video Topher. I used to live there and still have family there. There’s nothing like a beautiful weather day in the Seattle area, or a trip to the San Juans or Vancouver, BC.
Great video of the Pacfic Northwest on a very PNW weather kind of day in DC.
This Washington is home now – but that Washington will always be my real home.
Thanks!
