- Ecuadorian embassy in town for a while.
- Historic Georgetown family that once made 50,000 pies a day, is trying to get back in the business. They hope to open a storefront this fall.

The photo with the horse carriages is the current northeast corner of O and Wisconsin (site of present CVS building). There was a stables/livery directly across O Street.
