Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- GM noticed that the Georgetown canal boat was still parked in Georgetown weeks after it was supposed to be scrapped. Did it get a reprieve?
- Some more speculation about Citronelle’s future.

A local developer told me last evening that Richard had already signed a lease for new space at Washington Harbor. (In former office space.)
I noticed the canal barge, too, GM. I’m wondering if it’s too rotted to be towed? (Though would love to hear there’s been a reprieve).
Hearsay, but I heard a month or more ago that a Washington Harbour partner had said they were hoping to sign a lease for an up-scale restaurant, ‘like Citronelle’. The restaurant would supposedly be located in the southwest corner.
