Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- Wait, yet another frozen yogurt place wants to come to Georgetown?
- Guy behind forthcoming Le Diplomate restaurant in Logan inquires about Georgetown space. (Doesn’t sound like he’s all that interested though).

That guy is Stephen Starr, who is a restaurant genius. His places are awesome – I would love for him to come to Georgetown – maybe up towards Book Hill or the Palisades would fit more with the neighborhood vibe he is seeking. And Black Salt does very well so there would definitely be interest.
Malmaison owner Omar Popal passed along unconfirmed rumors that Starr was heading to Georgetwon (which were later not confirmed).

It does seem like Georgetown could be an excellent spot for a Starr restaurant, as he is adamant about wanting to stay away from office buildings, and interested in finding great spaces. And typically, when he enters a market, he puts down at least a couple of restaurants.
One can hope.
