Come Out to Hear What’s in Store for Georgetown’s Transportation Future

Circulator bus

Tonight GM will be hosting a meeting held by the Citizens Association of Georgetown on the topic of transportation issues. It will be from 6:00 – 7:307:00 – 8:30 (although the first half hour is the reception with wine and food). It will be held at Malmaison at 3401 Water St.

Joining GM will be representatives of the DC Department of Transportation, WMATA (Metro), and the BID. Topics to be discussed will include issues such as commuter car congestion on the side streets, changes to the bus lines, and even the possible future of a Georgetown metro stop.

The last time GM hosted one of these meetings, the criticism he got back was that he should shut up a bit and let the audience ask more questions. So message received! After short presentations from each of the speakers, the floor will be open to questions. So come prepared!

See you there tonight!
