- The city settled for only $6 million with the construction company that caused the Georgetown Library fire in 2009. It initially sought $13 million and the total cost to rebuild the library was $23 million.

- A teenager was shot last night on M St., right in the middle of the Halloween festivities. No word so far on the victims condition, however there were some reports that the shooter was arrested.
- The President will be giving a speech at Francis Scott Key Park this Wednesday.
- Some blogs are reporting that Tackle Box will reopen by Nov. 15th. GM hopes that’s true, but they’ve already promised a few other dates without opening.
