Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- Scheele’s Market is under contract (again). GM understands that the new owner (who doesn’t appear to be Marc Teren) intends to keep the market open and live upstairs. More info as it comes in.
- PoP judges Furin’s (or rather, simply posts a picture and asks his readers to actually have something interesting to say, which is to say: PoP posts something).
- GM’s finally back, so check back for regular postings.

- While yesterday’s snow storm was pretty mild, remember you still have to shovel your sidewalks. Especially you corner lot people! You need to shovel the entire sidewalk around your lot, not just the sidewalk in front of your house.

- Owner of Cafe Milano knighted.
- DCist declares cupcake trend dead, but truly it’s just wishful thinking on their part. Here in Georgetown, we’re going to get yet another cupcakery next January when Sprinkles opens. But then again, you never know. The bubble is always largest just before it pops.
