- GM will have his comprehensive review of the state of Georgetown businesses in January, but here’s a quick list of some new and lost businesses from 2010.

- Coming to Georgetown this Saturday night: a parade of Christmas light-covered cars!
- Liquor moratorium extended for five years.
- Vincent Gray appears to consider eliminating caps on student enrollment in DC universities. In a related note: thousands of eyes just bulged after reading that sentence.

Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- If you haven’t got a Christmas tree yet, don’t forget Georgetown’s own Christmas tree lot at 1614 Wisconsin Ave. GM walked by there yesterday and they have plenty of trees all at pretty low prices.
- Speaking of Christmas decorations, check out Four Season’s halls all decked.
- While it was pretty cold, it looked like Merriment in Georgetown was another success.

Christmas Tree Lot Comes to Georgetown
There’s nothing to get you into the Christmas spirit like picking up a Christmas tree. GM likes to head out to a farm in Great Falls to get his, but this year if you don’t feel like taking the trip, the trees are coming to you. in the small courtyard in front of what used to be Presse Bookstore, a Christmas tree lot has been set up.
No trees yet, but a sign promises trees, wreaths, and even pre-decorated trees for the lazy amongst us. The sign even promises free delivery. What a great service to the community!

Good morning Georetown, here’s the latest:
- Neighbors start to make noise about sidewalk shoveling.
- Roof collapses due to snow on house on 3000 block of Dumbarton. Thankfully no one was hurt since the house was being renovated at the time.
- Posts are going to be light for the rest of the week, GM is already on his Christmas break. Happy holidays!
