Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- Work has begun on new Nike store.

GM was a little derelict in getting out notice, but today is your last day to apply to participate in CAG’s 2012 art exhibit. So if you’re an artist, get that application in today.
The show itself will be Presidents Day weekend (starting Thursday February 16th through Monday the 20th) at the elegant House of Sweden. The show is open to all artists who either live or work in Georgetown. You can show up to four pieces, depending on space. The entry fee is $50. To apply, either call the CAG office at 202-337-7313 or email them at cagmail@cagtown.org.
This is a fantastic event and a great way to remind yourself just how much talent is roaming Georgetown.

Come out tonight, and through this weekend, to support the second annual Georgetown Arts show. The event, put on by CAG, will take place in the Georgetown Mall.
It will be on the second floor (that is, the floor below the ground floor) over on the west side by Dean and Deluca.
There was some great art last year, and GM expects it to be even better this year.
