Actually, I heard the fireworks were at the Church of Two Worlds on Q street, they had let off fireworks in the back of the church. I live on Q St. right across from the church and it sounded like it was right outside my window. I went outside and there was a neighbor smoking a cigarette out front and she said she saw the fireworks go off right behind the church.
