NBC4 is running an online poll this month asking what neighborhood is better for peoplewatching: Dupont or Georgetown. Right now Georgetown is getting slaughtered almost 2-to-1. It’s kind of a silly question, but if “people-watching” would require extended periods of time with the tourists on M St., then GM would have to agree with the public on that one. However you feel, GM thinks we can all agree that the comments section of that poll makes us not want to visit either neighborhood.
But what do you think? Aren’t there better options to sit and watch people besides Georgetown and Dupont anyway?
This poll follows another asinine poll by NBC4: who’s got the best pizza, Armands or Ledos? Really NBC4? Those were the only two candidates you could think of? It’s like the polls were written by an intern with a 1998 copy of Let’s Go Washington DC.
