Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:

  • New GERMS ambulance. In case you didn’t know, GERMS is a fantastic free service Georgetown students provide to the community. It’s a free ambulance service staffed by trained EMTs. You ought to add their number to your phone: (202) 687-4357.
  • Construction on O and P streets to start Thursday, end in 2013

GM, what is the nature of the construction on O and P Streets and which blocks are involved? Thanks.

Asking the same question – what construction?? How will it impact traffic? sidewalks? residences? And want to thank you, GM, for my good mornings each day. So appreciated!

For some reason my links got screwed up this morning. The construction involves completely tearing up the cobblestone streets west of Wisconsin. They’re even taking up the streetcar tracks. But they’re putting them all back in place. It will make all the tracks flush with the stones. It will look fantastic when it’s done but it will be a nightmare between then and now.
