As mentioned here several times, a labor of love by local film maker Dave Lilling has produced a documentary on the late great Bayou night club that once graced Georgetown’s K St. (Watch the trailer above). This afternoon, the full documentary will be broadcast on WETA today at 4:00 pm.
It is especially fitting to reminisce on the Bayou just days after Gypsy Sally’s–which seems to capture some of the same spirit as the Bayou–opened just down the street.
