Tonight the Citizens Association of Georgetown is hosting a fantastic evening talk with Eastbanc president, Anthony Lanier, and his former employee, BID President Joe Sternlieb. They will be speaking on the status of commercial development in Georgetown. How’d we get here? Where are we going? Why can’t we get a hardware store, etc.?
The last time Lanier spoke for CAG, it was a packed house. He spoke at length about his past, how his vision came about, and what he’d like to see in the future for Georgetown. The crowd ate it up.
And speaking of future, probably nobody around Georgetown is thinking about its future more right now than Joe Sternlieb. His organization put out the ambitious Georgetown 2028 study, and he is already doing the heavy lifting to make it a reality.
The meeting is at Pinstripes at 1064 Wisconsin. The event starts at 7:00, with the talk starting at 7:30. Come on down, you won’t be disappointed!
