This week on Old Georgetown in Color, GM returns to Hoya sports. And that craggy granite cliff of a face above belongs to Gus Malley who in 1919 played fullback for the Hoyas. He was just a freshman. He apparently was from Dorchester Mass and went to high school at the prestigious Boston Latin school. When he returned to his home city to play Boston College in 1921, the school’s newspaper admired that “Malley’s line plunging featured Georgetown’s playing in that great 10 to 7 game two years ago.”
