Signage up at 1037 33rd St. indicates that a MacKenzie-Childs store is coming to that location. This is a New York-based furniture/homeware company that specializes in a certain….style? Affectation? Let’s just say it must be an acquired taste.

I have a cousin who will be very excited by this…. it’s not really my thing, but it’s sure going to make finding presents for her a lot easier! I think it’s the sort of design that is dizzying when all putt together as in a catalogue, but would be lovely as a “pop” on a more neutral background.
