The warmth of summer extended well into October this year. But summer itself technically ended almost a month ago. And that means that the promised Summer 2018 delivery of the Mono Diner at 1424 Wisconsin Ave. was missed.
Nonetheless, the window coverings are down and the interior furnishings are installed. It appears an actual opening is imminent.
GM expressed some skepticism about this restaurant when the signs first went up. The website used photos stolen from IHOP and the owner has a spotty history in Georgetown. But the near final design looks not bad! We’ll see!
