Please Watch This Crucial Discussion on Race and Georgetown

Dumbarton House hosted a wonderful talk last month on the legacy of Race and Racism in Georgetown. Not surprisingly, it was a popular talk, so much so that by the time GM posted about it, the virtual tickets were all sold out. But now you can watch the recording of the talk above.

Thank you to Dumbarton House for hosting this crucial dialog. Relatedly, Yvette LaGonterie is giving her wonderful talk on the history of the enslaved people at the City Tavern next week via Tudor Place. GM saw her give the same talk at the City Tavern itself last spring and highly recommends it.
