ANC 2E will be meeting next Monday for its February session. We’ve all been living like it’s Groundhog Day since last March, but that meeting will take place on the actual Groundhog Day (eve). Maybe we’ll finally get Andie McDowell to fall in love with us and end this wretched curse we’re living through!
But until then we’ve still got an ANC meeting to get through.
One item on the agenda is a resolution to support the Rose Park Farmers Market. This fantastic market will return March 17th and run through October 27th. GM was informed that the market is looking for more local independent retailers to feature, so if you’ve got a favorite, let them know about it!
Also on the agenda are two possible resolutions concerning east-west traffic and speed limits. GM understands that these mostly concern the streateries and the possibility of 15 mph speed limits on the side streets.
