Last week the CDC approved Covid vaccine booster shots for children ages 5-12. This is great (and overdue) news, as we’ve learned the importance of boosters to lessening the impact and spread of the newer variants. But where to get one?
Luckily the city is still running Covid vaccine centers, which are now equipped to give out boosters to children. You can just walk-in, no reservation required.
The locations are listed above, and the daily status of the centers can be found here. For Georgetowners the most convenient locations are probably either the Ward 2 location (downtown at 926 F St.) or the Ward 3 location (Friendship Heights at 5335 Wisconsin Ave.)
