Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- Dana Nerenberg is out as Hardy principal. She will continue to be the principal at Hyde.
- And shovel your sidewalks! Especially you corner lot people, don’t just shovel one side! GM will be out with a camera this weekend taking photos of the scofflaws. You will be put in a hall of shame.

Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- GM needs to correct something from yesterday: the ANC will not, repeat, will not be considering a resolution on GU’s ten year plan next week. Since they have until April for the Zoning Commission hearing, there’s no rush.
- JFK used to have his presidential booty calls at Paul Niven’s house at 3629 Prospect St.

Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- The West Georgetown School building at 1640 Wisconsin was sold by the College of Surgeons to the African Union to serve as the organization’s chancery building.
- Next Q&A Cafe moves from the Ritz to DC Cable in Van Ness. Upshot: Free. Downside: You gotta bring your own lunch.

Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- Charges filed against the drug-lab GU students.
- GM missed this back in December, but apparently the company behind the Cereal Bowl stores (a restaurant that just sells cereal, seriously) is considering a GU campus location. GM is not going to make any connections between GU, drug use, and a desire to eat cereal because you already did yourself.

Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- Mike Grass digs up the time when Mike Tyson almost killed someone at Au Pied de Cochon.
- GM never thought the Dixie in Dixie Liqours was “Dixie” like “look away Dixie land”. But the Washington Post finds that it’s the only Dixie-named store in the District and sees it as a lingering marker of southern influences waned.

Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- Been by Morso recently? It sure seems like they left town. They’ve got notes up on both doors (Morso and Morso Express) talking about being closed for “building repairs”. But mail is piling up and, more daming, there’s a note on one door letting the owners know that someone’s trying to serve them with some legal documents. GM doubts they’ll reopen.
- Isn’t $799k way too much for a one bedroom house?

Good morning Georgetown, here’s the latest:
- GM had a prior commitment and couldn’t make it to the Hardy PTA meeting Wednesday night. Thankfully Shaun Courtney was on the job.
- Some councilmembers are proposing to rename Pennsylvania Ave. as a protest for voting rights. GM sort of proposed that idea a long time ago…
