As mentioned a little while back, Dumbarton Oaks closes itself down at the drop of a hat (or rather, at the drop of a snow flake). In the photo above, it is announced that some ice on some paths is enough to close down the whole gardens on February 1st.
Well last Sunday, the sun was shining, the mercury hit the high 50s, people were about, and yet Dumbarton Oaks was still closed. They’re kidding right?
They were closed on Mondays as usual. Will they finally open today?
