Be Careful How You Park
GM walked by this scene over the weekend. A motorcycle was parked with its wheel right up against the curb. This resulted in a mini flooding situation.
This probably didn’t cause any serious issues, but with a heavier rain it could. So be careful when you’re parking! Make sure to leave a little more room between your tires and the curb. The residents next to your car or motorcycle would surely appreciate not getting the sidewalk flooded, which could lead to house flooding.

Bus Shelter Installed
After receiving approval from the Old Georgetown Board last Thursday, the proposed bus shelter at 35th St. and Dent Pl. was quickly finished over the weekend.
As you can see from the photo above, not only is it not an eyesore, you can hardly see it period. And surely riders appreciated the cover on Sunday as it rained hours at end. May they be the first of many to enjoy its comforts.
