Yesterday, GM related some of the basic (and less basic) datasets that describe the Georgetown household, at least according to the Census Bureau’s American Community Survey. Today, GM is going to dive into a few more interesting datasets:
For instance, in east Georgetown, 50% of residents are now married. In west Georgetown, however, only 30% of residents are married. It doesn’t appear that west Georgetown is full of divorceés; the number of residents who have never been married is 60%. For east Georgetown that number is 40%.
As for education, east Georgetown is slightly more educated than west Georgetown. A full 63% of east Georgetown residents hold a graduate or professional degree. On the west side that number is 57%. However, on both sides of Wisconsin, approximately 90% of residents hold at least a college degree. Continue reading
